WORLD HEALTH COMMUNICATION ASSOCIATES

In the last 6 months WHEN has held three important meetings which in addition to providing health communication opportunities for the participants, have complemented significant calendar events in the international health community.

The HIV/AIDS Briefing was held in preparation for World Aids Day and provided news, information, and broadcast products to assist reporting of WAD.  A full report of this meeting is available here.

In January this year WHEN held a consultation as part of WHO’s preparation for World Health Day, on Communicating Climate Change and Health.  The report for this meeting is available here.

In May this year WHCA and WHPA held a WHEN meeting to assist the preparations for the World Health Assembly 2008, in Geneva.  The meeting report, with video clips will be available soon.  The outline and draft Table of Contents of the proposed Guide is available here.
