WHCA helped WHO HQ with communication activities related to World Health Day 2006 and the launch of the World Health Report on Human Resources for Health (www.who.int/hrh/en/). WHCA, under contract to WHO, helped the Human Resources for Health (HRH) Department in the development of a communications strategy around the theme of Working Together for Health. WHCA graphic designer Tuuli Sauren (www.inspirit-int.com) designed the WHD logo and tool kit, developing the slogan “Working Together for Health” (www.who.int/world-health-day/2006/toolkit/en/). WHCA helped HRH with press relations at their London launch of the World Health Report. WHCA associate Steve Turner (www.turner-associates.org) developed a video news release and a series of short Public Service Announcements, which aired on CNN.
